- Colonoscopy Diagnostic
- A colonoscopy may be recommended if you are experiencing symptoms such as abdominal pain, changes in bowel habits, or rectal bleeding. This procedure helps your doctor determine the cause of your symptoms.
- Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD/Upper Endoscopy)
- During this procedure, a thin, flexible camera is passed through the mouth to examine the esophagus, stomach, and upper part of the small intestine. An EGD may be recommended if you are experiencing symptoms such as heartburn, trouble swallowing, persistent nausea, upper abdominal pain, or gastrointestinal bleeding. It can help your doctor identify conditions such as acid reflux (GERD), ulcers, inflammation, and other disorders affecting the upper digestive tract.
